The Prince George’s County Barbers Association (PGCBASSN) is a professional organization aimed at bringing together barbers from all backgrounds and fostering a sense of community, education, and support within the industry. Our mission is to elevate the barbering profession, enhance the skills and knowledge of our members, and advocate for the industry's interests. It is our intention to grow PGCBASSN into a nationally recognized organization.
Barbershops are the hub of the community, where people feel safe and comfortable enough to be themselves. It is important to understand the needs of the community and its stakeholders, as they are the reason barber shops continue to exist and flourish. We will ensure barbers are educated and knowledgeable about the social matters concerning our community. Continuing education is imperative to stay adept with the current trends and individual support.
We serve a diverse group of individuals, including those who require additional assistance with daily tasks. If we are unequipped to provide the support, we risk potentially losing those clients. PGCBASSN is here to help.

At our barber association, we offer ongoing professional grooming educational courses for servicing men and women alike. Our expert barber instructors are skilled in the latest cutting and styling techniques and can help you find the perfect look for any occasion. We also provide courses for facial treatments and scalp massages to help your clients look and feel their best.
